
RENI AT SCHOOL AND AT MRS. SUSY
The next day at Reni’s school was the reading of new fairy tales. The lady asked Reni, the best student, to start reading first. Reni could see the letters, but she couldn’t put them together.
She told to the teacher tha she had headahe.The lady told Reni to go home. Reni come back and began to diligently learn to read.
In the evening Reni’s parent allowed her to go to Mrs. Susy and Fyfy the pig.
Mrs. Susy told Reni why she had goats. Well, it all started withnher son’s illness when he wasa baby. There was contagious diarrhea in inte infants and they were treated in the hospital, but unsuccesfully, so that some died.
Mrs.Susy was also taken to hospital. Mrs. Susy stole her son from hospital and went with him to another city, where a famous old man used to heal people with herbs.
He told to collet reds o wild sorrel in the meadows an the blue flowers of traveler’s chicory. He also told to givea lot of goa’ts milk to drink.
That’s why Mrs,Susy bought goats and stil has them today. She told:
I hat cured my Peter at the time, and I didn’t know that I wouldn’t have any more kids. See also what a delikate and young my face because I drink goat milk. Next time
I’ll treat you my goat cottage cheese.
Reni tanked her very much and thenwent for a walkwith Fyfy.
And then she came home to learned to put letters together into words and sentences again. She finally could read ! It wasn’t that hard at all !
Then Reni go to sleep. Trolly and Fyfy feel asleep also in their lairs and had beatiful dreams.
Elon was already asleep in the hospital too. He didn’t dream of anything, because he was so dumbed down by the medicatione had to take.
MYSTERIOUS GARDEN, EXOTIC BIRDS
It was Saturday morning and fog Trolly barked under Reni’s window : Elon came back from hospital . In a hour we will meet at the swan pond !
Then dog ran with the news to the outhouse where Fyfy the pig slept with Mrs. Susy’s goats.
When the four of them meet, they decided to take tram number 9 to the last stop and look fo Reni’s Grandma garden, which they had seen from the helicopter.
They managed again to drive under the last bench,covering themselve swith a free blanket lying there.
Then they walked more less forward the garden looking around. It was an area of old, large houses with gardens.
And suddently they heard a strange, unknown singing a bird. Listening, curious they walked towards the sound.
After a while they saw a half-open gatein the wall and went inside.
To they left was a long conversatory with lots multicoloured, large exotic birds. Next toit gres two mighty trees and on the rights in distance they saw an old wooden shed.
There was also a small, white church. But the door to it was locked.
There was no man here to say good morning and to say to him and ask what kind of place it was.
An owl was ttingon the roof of the aviary and now began to call. This owl ask:
Where did you come from?
The children told the owl a whole story of their search for grandmother’s garden and their pets nodded in agrement.
The owl told them in his counting voise : You are now in garden of the old lord who died. He was a very good master of mine. His name John Mitarsky. He had a long beard and very nice voice. Mr. John raise me from a blind chick. He brought these birds from allnover the world, because he was a traveler. When he saw an injured bird or chick anywherehe he traed him, fed and brought here those bird that did not want leave Mr. John.
Elon asked : Then whos takingcare of them now ? And the owl answered : A friend of Mr. John, a monk from nearby monastery is coming to us. We call him Joseph. Shall we meet him here ? Reni asked.
The owl replied : No, he was there this morning and won’t be until tomorrow,Now you are walking aroun our garden and be sure to look into shed, it has only a closed door.
